Types of Shots

During this unit, I have learned alot about video shots, angles, and camera movements. Before hand, I knew absolutely nothing about the different kinds of shots you can use. I simply just grabbed a camera and winged it. But after this unit, I learned different shots like pans, tilts, slanted, etc.  I think that each photo was good, except some wack videos of me, but besides that I thought that they were pretty good. I would improve on taking more unique videos and then I would also do my lead in and lead out times better by counting exactly three seconds.

Action Movie

One of the things that went well for me was acting for the shots.  The plot was really simple so I did not have to do much other than run to where we decided to end the shot.  The hardest part of this project was making the story board.  It is hard to figure out what shots you want to take before you mess around with the camera.  Overall I think that our video went really well, the editing looked pretty good too.  The worst part about the video was fading into some of the other clips.

Radio Manager

I picked this career because i wants to become a Radio manager and have my own talk show. This job intrests me because of Johnny Dare he has his own  talk show and i think that would be awesome to have my own talk show. I am still a little interested in this job but I'm leaning more towards firefighting or welding. I would really like to be a disk jockey and be on the air. i would not like to be a photographer because then you would have to deal with all the kids crying and not staying still for the picture and everything else in-between.

The Future of News

My opinion about the future of our newspaper is that it is in trouble. They are going to eventually quit the whole production line at this rate. Not many people buy them anymore, they just read the newspaper and news online. I also think that the future way they are going to get news around is by using the Internet. Mostly everyone in the United States have Internet, so if they quit selling newspapers then anyone who cares about keeping up with the news will probably just get on the Internet. Now if the journalists quit then that may be a different story. I think that if there is no one to write for newspapers then we will turn to the news on TV. Therefore, I believe that if the newspaper quits getting printed then it won't be a big deal because we still have Internet and TV to get the news around.

I learned that interviewing is a very long process, if you make a wrong comment or ask a sensitive question you can ruin the whole interview. It is important to ask open ended questions because its eaier for the interviewee to answer the questions.

Composition Photos

I have learned that you can take many photos but until you start learning the different angles and photo types you can make photos look amazing and creative. My favorite type of composition photo is Selective Focus it just looks really cool and crazy.
